Shocking $14,663.25 hospital bill despite having insurance

I have received a shocking bill from Memorial Hospital that has gone to this FFS.
The amount is $14,663.25.
I had insurance at that time, and this is a mistake. I will also take this up with Golden Rule Insurance, which I now find out is also a mistake. It is a supplemental insurance and the broker selling this to me did not sell it as that.
