PPD's phone number is transposed by one digit from mine. I contacted the organization and they told me it was user error - that the caller must have inadvertently dialed the wrong number. I explained that I get at least 3 calls per week for PPD. I spoke with a caller this morning who was trying to reach PPD. I explained that he reached a private residence. He was looking at Google results for Pharmaceutical Product Development and read the phone number - my phone number - to me twice. He steered me to this site where the number is correct. When I spoke with the receptionist, she was unwilling to transfer me to the webmaster or a communications department so that I could make them aware of the error.
