"I purchased furniture from Ashley and after one year it started peeling. I submitted my claim and was denied. I know two other couples who have the exact same furniture and there's started doing the same thing so we all submitted our claims (mine a second time) and they accepted the cahirs, but not the couch. They then denied my couch a third time even though it was doing the same thing. I have dealt with this for over one year and I am extremely disappointed in the quality of the furniture and the service I have received. I have even been told at one time "It is the way it is and they are not going to do anything about it." One of the other couples who had the same furniture was just in the distribution center and saw all of our charis that were returned with 4 couches matching the chairs. I even have a photo of this. I contacted the store about it and was told they were donated to a local organization and then returned. It boggles my mind how they are willing to donate this defective furniture in large quantities for no financial value other than marketing and not take care of a paying customer. I am also concerned at how true that is or if it was accepted as damaged. I also contacted a furniture repair company about recovering the furniture and he said " Ashley furniture is such poor quality it would not be worth the money. You would be better off in the long run going out a buying new furniture." I cannot believe this company claims to be the best in furniture quailty and customer satisfaction. I have read so many reviews of how disappointed people are with their product and service. I would highly reccommend staying away from them. Note: I have also tried contacting the corporate office and was pushed off to the local store."
