I bought my daughter a desk/bookcase for Christmas on December 5th. I ordered it online and called to make sure it would ship in 5-7 business days. She assured me it does. On December 13th I hadn't received a shipment confirmation yet so I called them. The lady left me a message stating that it had shipped that day (In the message to the company I did inform them we were leaving on the 22nd and wouldn't be back until after Christmas, so I did need it by the 21st!) and for me not to worry it would be here in a couple of days. On Wednesday the 21st, I called Simply Kids and left a message stating my item hadn't arrived yet. I got a call back stating it wouldn't be here until the next evening. Since we were leaving the next morning my husband called and asked if it was in the area, could we pick it up at the shipping warehouse. The lady said she didn't know who told us it would be here by Thursday evening because according to her shipping company, it wasn't even going to be here until the 1st of January!"THEN: I get a call from the shipping company stating they wanted to set delivery up for January 9th!!! It was still in North Carolina! I live in Sacramento, Ca! This gift was from Santa! Well... Santa never showed up to my house for my 10 year old daughter. Yes, Simply Kids did compensate $150.00 towards my credit card but what utter incompetence! I was told so many things, when in reality nobody knew anything. I called today to complain because I am ANGRY, and the company said once it leaves their warehouse its out of their hands. Ummmmm, no. They choose their shipping method. They never once even apologized! Never ever again!!
