Ashley we pay less for less

My husband and I recently visited a Ashley Furniture store in Arlington, Tx. After reading about this high volume furniture store I felt confident in looking into making a very important purchase. When you think of your home; you want the comfort, affordability, and class you work so hard for. Our experience was less than to be expected. Our sales employee seemed impatient to our needs. She kept walking off and looking for other expected buyers. We were overwhelmed with the run around prices, warranties, and added extras of the price. We found the couch of our dreams after being rushed in our decision. She made us feel less than worthy of the couch or the other pieces we found by talking down to us about not accepting the leather conditioner or delivery. We would have loved an employee to be excited for us to find what we were looking for but instead felt like a burden. When we asked to have a chair or cushion moved to our couch selection is took twenty minutes to find an associate that could properly move the chair. We had five minutes before the chair was rushed back with no comment or questions.

The store advertises on its website they “want to be the best furniture company” followed with an “excellent experience”, then summed up with “you’re gonna love this place”. I have found you pay for what you get, and we did not pay for service, apparently.
