Furniture Warranty Support is complete ripoff!

I buy a room occur January, July Along Side my $4000 furnishings from Bassett Furniture in Charlottesville, Va., I bought a $199.95 five-year guarantee from Stainsafe. The Bassett salesman stated that practically something that went wrong could be set without issue.

On June 13th, a wooden athlete smashed along with a drawer-full of trousers dropped out and nearly broke my base. I limped around for three times attempting to achieve Stainsafe. Telephones are not USUALLY idle before you hang-up or you take a seat on store.in those days a state can not document on the site. That has changed. Lastly, having a contact of unpleasant I achieved an owner (rude, rude, rude on July 16th!) after 23 minutes on hold. I had been provided a state quantity and directed to every doc I obtained at that time of purchase and send each. I had been informed that I'd get a "verification of the state in 2-3 business days", along with a repair-service might contact me in "2 4 weeks".

I tried to contact them on July 20th and also the telephone was hectic the whole evening. On 22nd and June 21st I sent an overall total of three demands for info, none was recognized.

I had been to become speaking with my buddy, a police lieutenant in Central Florida, and before I really could note the title of the organization he broke out giggling and stated "I would like to speculate, Stainsafe". After telephone calls, numerous authorized characters, faxes, emails, grievances towards the Florida Attorneygeneral and the Better Business Office, for each Stainsafe and Bassett, I was called by the director of the shop. I had been guaranteed a reimbursement about repairs and the guarantee. The repairs are imminent and that Iam still awaiting the reimbursement by July 13.

Addendum to my tale:

On July 7th I ultimately did notice from Stainsafe via email. "our specialists are unavailable to supply the support your state demands" was my solution.
