Prepaid T-Mobile stole my prepaid minutes

I don't belong to those individuals who seem to have a cell phone glued to their right ear. Actually i only use between 1 and 3 minutes a day. Since 2005 I have been using T-Mobiles "Gold Reward Customer" program: 1,000 minutes for $ 100 tax, good for one year, remaining minutes roll over into the following year. I never had any problems with this company or their service and their offer was perfect for my lifestyle.

On january, 31 I had to purchase another 1,000 minutes because my remaining balance of aproximately $ 20 or $ 30 was going to expire. After having made my purchase, my phone was showing a balance somewhere between $ 120 and $ 130, - In order to check the remaining balance I have been using the "My Account" feature which is a magenta circle on the phone's screen. (Under "Web2go") I check this about every other day and the balance continuously went down from the initial $ 120 or $ 130 in February to $ 61.27 on Nov., 12. (Today) When I tried to use the phone I received a message saying "you don't have enough funds to make this phone call".

I went to a T-Mobile store and showed them that I still have a balance of $ 61.27 - they pulled up my account on their computer and they told me "Your account balance is $ 0.02 - that you see $ 61.27 on your screen does not mean anything, you have to refresh this information, probably it has frozen up."

I know that I did not use over $ 120 within less than 10 months and that the account information that my cell phone displays is correct. I use about $ 60 to $ 70 a year, the argument that the "Account information froze up" is nonsense, it is not like a mechanical odometer which could jam - either you get the account information or you get an error message. What is also strange is that i started to get messages "YOur account balance is low - please refill your account" around the same time when there were news about T-Mobile being in trouble and a possible bankruptcy.

I feel that there should be a criminal investigation against this company for theft and fraud.
