On or around 10/13 I responded to an offer from the internet stating that I would receive a watch by only paying $5.99 for shipping and handling. It was suppose to be a high quality watch and it was one of the cheapest watches I have ever seen.
Shortly after, my checking account gets charged $98.00. When I called the bank to find out what this charge was about, they told me it was from PFM Maxnaim and supplied me with the phone number (at my request).
When I called and spoke with Ms. Tanya, she stated that a statement informing me that I would be charged $98.00 if I kept the watch and that I had 14dys to return it at no charge was posted along with the advertisement.
I informed her that there wasn't any such statement posted and I would never ordered the watch under those terms. Ms. Tanya gave me the email address for the billing department. I was not able to reach the billing department at [email protected].
This is a horrible scam and dishonesty is not the way to do business.
