I've had a very troubling experience with Samsung. The plasma overheated and cracked. Samsung sent a repairman who advised me that this happens. However, Samsung's "Execututive Customer Relations Dept" maintains that there was physical damage. This is troubling since I was home when the TV turned off due to the damage. There was no physical contact.in fact, the screen is intact. The company is disregarding the opinio of their expert who physically examined the TV and essentially calling me a liar. It is quite disturbing that the company took this position. I am forced to report them to the BBB and take legal action for damages.
