I have had good results with Asurion when I was with T-moble. Now with MetroPCS that is no longer the case. With T-moble all I had to do was call or go on line and a replacement phone was over nighted to me. However with MetroPCS I was told to "go to the store with a gov. Approved picture Id and appropriate paperwork". I think they called it an affidavit. Then send in the paperwork and they'd email me to let me know what "they decided"!
We went around and around and I demanded to be transfered to a superior. A Claims Specialist. She decided to wave the paperwork and send me a replacement overnight. She was very professional and understanding.
What a headache! Can anyone say high blood pressure. They did say this was MetroPCS's policy.
