I never received my rebate check from Clumbia for the two way radios from Fry's. After reading these reports about bounced checks I'm glad. It seems they are bankrupt and there is nothing we can do right? Wrong.
I sent a letter to Fry's customer service telling me the problem and a week later the manager of the store where I made my purchase called and said he would either lean on the company or give me a store credit of $25. He also said, he had not heard any complaints about Columbia.
After that I went for the store credit. Its not quite as good as cash but if you shop at Fry's it works out to about the same and its better than nothing. Let Fry's deal with the fraud. Everyone go to Fry's to get your rebate. Cheers.
