Wow, what a horrible experience! Wish there was NO-STAR. I buy online all of the time, as I am deployed overseas often, but this was the first time I had shopped with Buy.com. I usually go through Amazon but Buy.com had a good deal on the Samsung NX200 camera for only $665.
Anyway, I tried with Paypal and the order got cancelled, apparently because I used an unverified address, though they never told me why. I am now disputing the charge that showed on my Paypal account!
Then I used my Visa check card and the purchase looked like it went through, but alas they referred it to the Address Verification Team. I am about 12 hours ahead and by the time I saw the email they had cancelled the order. I called the team above (1-877-880-1030) and Victor looked into it and blamed me for having a gmx.com email, saying they get a lot of fraud from those addresses - what, so you cancelled my order without telling me? He said he would reinstate the order but couldn't with two items - I would have to order them again.
