I placed an order with Buy.com on 4/4/06 and used my paypal account. I was charged $19.82 USD.
Minutes later, I cancelled the order because I realized it was the wrong item. I received confirmation from Buy.com that it was cancelled but my paypal account was already charged. I sent buy.com an email that night confirming my order was cancelled.
On 4/5, they respond back stating my account wasn't charged. I replied to their email requesting my refund. They respond back claiming nothing was charged to my account and for me to provide a transaction #.
On 4/6, I called paypal and spoke to Cynthia. She said Buy.com did charge my account and sent them email and cc'd me stating the date of transaction, amount of transaction and Trans ID#. I send another email to Buy.com informing them that paypal is sending them an email with the transaction #. They return my email stating they're waiting for the transaction #.
On 4/6, I called Buy.com at 877-780-2464 and spoke to Jordan which was no help and poor customer service skills. After constant requests to speak to a manager, he finally put me through to Malina. She claims she will check into it but if a credit is due, it will take 3-5 days.
On 4/7, I receive an email from paypal stating my account is being credited for the 19.82 but have not seen the credit to the account yet.
