Failure to repair and was still chrged after 2 attempts

Thank you for your response. I spoke with 360 pros this morning and they told me I would not be getting my return shipping refunded to me. ($22.99) They have initiated a refund for the failed repair in the amount of $89.99. I find this unaccetable. I sent the Xbox unit and hard drive to them as they requested for an estimate to repair the E 68 error code. I authorized them to make the repair and bill me for the repair and return shipping with confidence that the repair had been made as promised. They contacted me by email and said that the unit was repaired and was being tested. The following day I received another email saying they were performing more stress test and would ship soon after three weeks out the unit returned to me via fed ex. I hooked the unit up and found that it was now taking about 15-20 minutes to come to a stage that would allow the unit to function with the game disc.

At this point I tried to get onto XBOX live and found that now the machine was unable to access xbox live. I called 360 pros right away to ask what happened to my machine. Sandi responded that they were not in the practice of testing the unit on xbox live. This struck me as rather odd considering I had received 2 emails that state the unit was repaired and going threw more extensive stress testing. I conveyed my dissatisfaction with the issues and was told to send it back and they would look at it again. After a heated discussion I was transferred to a supervisor that finally emailed me a 2 day express shipping label to once again return the unit to them for repairs.

Several days later I received an email stating that threw unit was repairable and if I wanted it back that they would refund my repair cast but not the shipping or I could trade it in for an additional 129 dollars for a working unit. At this point I contacted Microsoft support and they say can be fixed by them for 139 dollars. I am requesting that I am refunding my full amount for repair and shipping for their failed attempts to complete a repair that I was told had been done so I can send the unit to Microsoft for repair. It is not fair for me to be charged for shipping on a unit that I was told was repaired and then am told is unrepairable. This is in my opinion shoddy business practice. This gives them the ability to just collect shipping and handling charges with out actually making any repairs.
