Ripoff won't take responsibility, left me holding bag

I purchased what I believed to be a family plan in February, notifying the sales rep that I would be terminating my house phone, and using T-Mobile phones only, instead. I told them I wanted to keep the phones I had (2), and, using that portability thing for which we pay monthly, keep the old number on a Cincinnati Bell phone, but to just switch it to T-Mobile.

At the same time, I purchased a picture phone. The old T-Mobile number would remain in effect, the old CVG Bell number would remain in effect, and I would have another number assigned to the picture phone.

I was assured the number would be taken care of, and not to worry about it. I then thought the CVG Bell phone was on the unlimited t-mobile to t-mobile plan. My husband did not realize it was still under CVG Bell's plan until this week, when I called customer service due to lousy connection from my home. (Even going outside does not improve it.)

I went to the t-mobile store from which I purchased this whole mess, and they said I would have had to give them all the info on my CVG Bell bill before changing to t-mobile. Then they said, since our home phone with the CVG Bell wireless phone was under my husband's name, he would have had to come in to change it, I was not authorized to do so. Finally, I was told that the representative believes he did nothing wrong. He was partially correct. He did nothing.

When going to the store to purchase a family plan, we have no choice but to trust the sales rep to take care of the loose ends. This was not done. I told the rep exactly what I wanted, and the rep gave me exactly what he wanted me to have.

The poor connectivity is similar to others' I have read. The connection here is terrible, and I lose a good number of calls, and cannot determine what many of the people calling are trying to say. I called customer service to let them know, and they said my service is fine, and the area gets wonderful reception.

Essentially, they are calling me a liar on both counts, and I simply want to cancel now, without having to pay the cancellation fee. The service is not that to which I agreed. I believe there is theft by deception and breach of contract, but the contract only states what the sales rep put on it.in other words, I am out of luck.
