Net ten is nothing but fraud. I do not reccomend this service for anyone one-soever. Let me explain:
Today about 6 hours ago i went to a local store and bought a tracphone (manufacturer of net ten) the promotional deal was 300 minutes and 60 day service, upon ACTIVATION ONLY NO AIRTIME CARD NESSECARY. Yet when i activated the phone they gave me ten free minutes and 60 day service. When i called customer service, i did get a lady with ok English so i clearly understood her saying she can not honer the promotion due to its no longer valid. Yet it came with the phone in the box stating the offer and she just said it was old stock, it is not my fault it is old stock so why should i not get the offer.
I was then transferred to the supervisor, who was not the best with English but still pretty understandable when he stated the exact same thing, so i asked to be put threw to a manager. The manager had terrible English, i could barely understand a damn thing she said, but it was pretty clear by than she was also not going to honer their offer made. She than tried to tell me it says on the box that it does not come with certain phones which is a lie because i searched everywhere on the box, receipt and brochure. She than told me i will have to fax her their own offer to prove to her they made that offer, because several people have complained about this offer and they do not honer it anymore.
After a while of being on hold several times and talking to them for hours i was getting fed up. They have to validate the offer they made after the fax comes in which can take weeks. My definition of validate: proof they made the offer to their customer, their deffinition of validate: understanding they made the offer but if they see that it has expired in their system they refuse to honor it. So even though they sold me a phone that was "old stock" with an offer they made, they still refuse to honor it.
All in all do not buy this product. The store will also not refund the phone after its been activated, and net10 will still receive your profit on it. This is nothing but a scam, and I am filing a fraud report also with the attorney generals office.
