I sent my 160gb iPod for a new battery to be installed by this company in May. I had to pay $19.99 for the battery and $40.00 for a box to ship the item. When they received my iPod they informed me that I would need a new main board which cost $79.99. I paid to have this installed. My iPod was shipped back in June I charged it and it came on wasn't able to use my speakers for this iPod because it was not working at the time. Tried to use it about 3 weeks later, the iPod wouldn't come on or charge. I emailed Digi Express on 7/11 to inform them of this situation, they informed me to please ship back to them and they will repair it without charge. I shipped out my iPod on 7/19 and they emailed me to inform me they had received the iPod on 7/22. Around 7/25 or 7/26 they called me to inform me that the board I just purchased from them had corrosion, I expressed that I didn't understand since I only turned it on and never really used it and haven't had it around any water so they wanted me to send another $79.99 for a new board, I refused and asked them to please send back my device. I didn't hear from them via phone or email so I contacted them on 8/1 to inquire about my ipod the same gentleman Michael whom I've spoken to from the beginning to the end that they was waiting for my payment and I reminded him that I told him not to repair the ipod then ship back to me he goes oh yeah that's right it will be shipped back to your on 8/3. On 8/3 I emailed and called to inquire again about my iPod, now I was told by Michael personally hand it to the shipping department to be ship and gave me a tracking # in which I did look up and I should have by 8/5. Because of all this going on I decided to look them up on the intranet RIPOFF department and noticed that they had been reported as keeping people iPod or not repairing them. I strongly believe that they gave me a used board or didn't repair it the first time and rip me off period. Thank you for your time.
