Purchased 50" Vizio 1080P HD TV 18 months ago. The picture blacked out, though the sound continued. I checked out the Internet to see if anyone else had experienced this problem. Whoa! People have been experiencing the same problem since and according to everything I've read, Vizio customer service is a waste of everyone's time.
Vizio has known about this problem for a long time. I think the company should pony up for a free fix, although it might already be too late.
