Inadequate Service - HP Pavillion DV7-1285DX

I took my laptop to Geek Squad because my battery stopped charging and wouldn’t work. They placed an order for a new battery (order 1) and said it would be delivered to my house in 4-5 days

I received the battery in a timely manner but it was the wrong battery. I have an HP Pavillion DV7-1285DX. This battery looked as if it were for a Netbook.

I called the parts store; they emailed me a return UPS label and re-ordered the battery (order number 2). They told me the battery should arrive in 4-5 business days. 9 business days later, I received my battery and guess what… It is the wrong battery. This one is 14.8 volts not 14.4 like I need.

I called the parts store again, they said they would email the return UPS label (I’ve yet to receive) and re-ordered and promised it would be the proper battery. (Order number 3).

I received a phone call from Terry in Consumer Relations and he said he would look into the issue (because I sent an email to everyone I could think of about my situation). He called back later today and told me that he got a part ordered and put an overnight delivery on it. I was very happy and was told I would receive the order confirmation in an email. I did about 30 seconds after I got off the phone with him. The part they ordered? They put an overnight order on the exact same part as order number 2. It is EXACT same battery that I have sitting in a box next to me and am awaiting the UPS shipping label so I can return it.

I am so angry and frustrated; I have no idea what to do. I am furious!
