Ordered a replacement bulb for my tv on saturday, May 6th, from Bluestar International Components. They claimed to have 145 of the type bulb I needed on hand, and they offered 2 day delivery... Recieved a confirmation from USPS that the shipping label was printed on the following monday, May 8th. All good so far.
Then the waiting began. After the 3rd day, I tracked the package, and the only history listed was the original alert I recieved on May 8th confirming PRINTING of the shipping label. I then called USPS and spoke to a customer care person, she checked the status for me again, she informed me that only the shipping label had been printed and could not confirm shipment.
I then called Bluestar International Components. Or should I say "I called Bluestar International's answering machine"... No exaggeration, I called over 30 times over 2 days, left 3 messages asking for a return call, and not once have I spoken to a human to date. Which happens to be May 23rd. "Frustration" doesn't do the feeling justice. Also sent two e-mails.
These people are a scam, no 2 ways around it. I still have a broken tv, they have my money, and e-mails and phone calls have done no good. I found it funny in a weird way that in a previous complaint, someone from the company filed a rebuttal in defense of their shady practices. Stated something to the effect of "only the complaints appear/how about all the satisfied customers?"... And then signed off "best regards" (salt in the wound) followed by the same phone number that I called 30 plus times to no avail.
I must make reference to the date of that complaint, November. Things havent changed.
