On July 20-23 I received a call from Sears telling us that our Sony Big Screen Model 53HS10 contract was terminating within 2/3 days. I thank them for calling and that yes I had a problem and no, I would not renew untill this problem was fixed.

The problem I was/am having is that when the TV is turned on for long period of time, it starts to loose the picture but maintains the audio, sometimes shutting itself off but still keeping the audio on.
This has gone on for more than 6 months, the TV was never repaired, I've had numerous techicians come to our home and order parts but never repairing the problem. The technicians have seen the problems and have agreed with me that it is not normal for the TV to work in this manner. But as I've said, I've had numerous technician come by to see the problem and yet the TV does not work as it should.

Problem: The last technician that came by didn't see the problem but he did not troubleshoot, and came so late to our home that the search engine he was using on his portable lap top computer to troubleshoot... Was not available untill the next day. This means that he was not able to see a schematic on the product yet decided to say that it was working fine and now wants to charge us for coming to take a look at our TV.

If they couldn't repair it when it was under warrenty, why should I pay for them to come and see now? By the way I'm a Biomedical Technician and I do have an AA in Electronics.
