I purchased a new HP desktop computer system on 8/26/10 after I took my Dell computer in and was told that it was fried. I specifically asked the sales rep, if my Dell printer @ home would be compatible and was told that it would work. I also paid for the old data and programs be transferred/downloaded into the new computer. I was told that the games could not be downloaded. I therefore spent $907.80 for the system. I find out later that in fact, the Dell printer I have is not compatible to windows 7, therefore unable to use and no way to upgrade it, etc. I wastold that they would give me a discount on a printer but could not afford to purchase a new one and assumed I could continue my job search thru the internet, but low and behold I now find out that I do not have microsoft word and unable to attach my resume nor copy and paste to potential employers. I therefore was lied to about, the printer and the microsoft word program, which I previously had and assumed it was downloaded. I was then told that I would have to purchase the microsoft word program. I am currently unemployed, a widow and now unable to search for work thru the internet as required by employers, now. I spoke to Vincent @ the store today and unable to resolve anything. I have considered contacting local TV station regarding the lack of customer service to advise the public, so maybe no-one else has to be put in my position. This is totally unsatisfactory customer service. I do not know what to do at this time.
