I purchased two Toll free numbers from the Phone People several months ago. The cost for the numbers were $41.86 per month and these fees were automatically taken from my Business Banking Account on the 2nd of the month.in December I realized that I was not using the numbers as originally intended, and I called the phone number listed with the auto deduction on my bank account and had the numbers disconnected and fees reversed. The Rep I spoke to, promised to do so and he gave me a nine digit reference number to memorialize the transaction. On January 2 I saw that my bank account was once more hit for $41.86 in fees!!! I called the Phone People again and asked why this was happening. They claimed that I had dealt with "another Company called One Call", and they had no record of this transaction! As a result, they would not honor the refund!
One Call and the Phone People are both owned by the same people and they do business in conjunction with each other! Why did they give me a reference number and tell me they would refund the monies in December?
I believe I've been ripped off and they never had any intention of refunding my money!
