Apple Inc. 1 week long week of nothing but terrible serivce to get a god-awful phone, they are a company full of liars

It took my friend and I 5 DAYS to get the 8 GB 3GS for our best friend. Unfortunately for us, our horrible experience with this company was in vain as she hates the damn device. So, you wonder what happened to us? Day 1: my friend couldn't get the phone because apparently USERS of the cell phone account cannot upgrade their phone; ok we understand, so we'll come back with the account holder.

Day 2: With the account holder there, we were not able to get the phone because they did not have anything in stock; "try the other Apple Store".

Day 3: We're at the other Apple Store. Finally got the damn phone.

Day 4: We give the phone to our friend. We try to get the SIM card slot to open using the pin that was given to us. It did not come out! The device was defective!

Day 5: We called into the Oakridge Apple Store to make sure they had the 8GB 3GS before going to see them. The guy on the phone says "yes we have them". 3 hours later we go back to the Apple Store. Waited 45 minutes for them to look at / diagnose the phone. The girl comes back telling us it looks like it was our fault! We finally got a hold on that awful phone and they think we are trying to deliberately try to break it!? In what universe will that benefit us?! Any ways, my friend took a stand and told her we were not going to leave without a working phone. Then magically, they ran out of stock on the model we wanted. We told the girl that we called earlier and there was stock (remember this was 3 hours ago). The girl denied that they had any left and asked us to go to the Apple Store downtown. So, we got her to call the other Apple Store to hold the phone for us to pick up. The girl confirmed it with us and we headed out to the other Apple Store. When we arrived the girl helping us told us that they were not able to keep holds on phones (so they lied to us to get rid of us at the other Apple Store). We waited another hour at the Apple Store at Pacific Center to get them to "look at the phone". The girl comes out to tell us that "this is an exception" and they will give us a new phone. We made the girl activates the phone for us and made sure that the phone worked before leaving. My friend missed all her appointments that day thanks to these people and their terrible service.

Afterwords, I tried to find someone at Apple to complain to about this experience. We called and the guy on the phone told us they do not take complaints over the phone so he told us that there's a section on the Apple website that we can post our complaints on. He gave us the title of the section we were suppose to look for. We went to look for it, and its not there. Yet again, another liar.
