Hi Blue Star Team,
In last 3 years we have bought 3 Blue Star air conditioners, all 1.5 Ton Window ACs. My experience of getting service from Blue Star has been nothing but traumatic.
For the last 2 days, one of my ACs is making a strange noise and is throwing hot air (seems like the compressor has a problem). We have been calling the Customer Service number and the reps out there are not even trained to take the address. While taking the address, the rep says that he is not aware of any city such as Gurgaon (phew! Rep asked me if it is somewhere close to Kolkatta).
Moreover, the rep says that we do not send our service engineers but ask one of the dealers to send their service guys. We do not trust these AC dealers who come up like mushrooms every summer season and then disappear by winters. I have seen 3 such dealers (refered to me by the company) in Gurgaon disappearing by end of the season.
When it comes to providing service, Blue Star never shows up after selling their ACs. For none of my ACs, Blue Star has ever called to check if we are satisfied or not. I know that other AC manufacturers provide 2 to 3 free servicing in the first year. I really wonder why Blue Star makes such tall claims of being the Cooling Experts and the best service provider in the cooling industry.
I am putting this online complaint in a hope that some responsible service person in Blue Star will address my issue and get some of their service processes streamlined so that your customers do not get harassed when it comes to getting service.
