Marcia Kalinowski Shipped incorrectly - paid 66 dollars for a 22 dollar order, no accountability, failure to listen

Ordered from these guys based on a suggestion from a forum.

Total of the order was approximately $22.

After contacting them was informed shipping cost would be $12.

Got a knock on the door - they shipped it UPS standard.

The total weight was approximately 250 grams.

GST/Duty was 2 dollars.

Due to their shipping method UPS said they would not deliver unless I paid TWENTY NINE DOLLARS in brokerage fees.

UPS has better services for almost the exact same price that waive all brokerage fees.

Total cost: ~$66 for a few resistors and capacitors.

After I complain to DIGIKEY, am informed that I could have paid in Canadian dollars in which case all of this could have been avoided. This offer was not made prior to ordering, despite 3 email exchanges with the SAME PERSON about the shipping costs.

Requested a $10 refund from them to appease my utter frustration, they refused.
