I brought my VCR/DVD recorder/player (model PVD4762) into this Panasonic authorized dealer for repair as the VCR was not working. I have only had this unit for about 7 months but there repair policy only covers labor for 90 days.
I was charged a $65.00 inspection fee that was to go towards the labor to fix the unit. The shop had my recorder for 3 weeks, when I called to see how things were going I was told they shut down to go on vacation and my unit would have an estimate within the next week. I called back the next week and was told the VCR recorder was defective and it would cost another $80.00 to repair it, that's the price of a new unit, go figure
