I selected this company based on user reviews.
I am always suspicious of positive reviews because often are written by the companies themselves rather than customers.
I decided to give them a chance.
This company promises a rate of $24.99 Global unlimited rate.
When the first telephone bill came the charge was $42 in my credit card.
When I asked them why the bill was $45 instead of $24.99 the answer was because the NUMBER OF calls were above average. I told them the add said it was unlimited local and long distance minutes NOT LIMITED. The total minutes were about 3000.
The first page of the website stated that with bold color letters.
Their response was that the contract I signed stated that the number of minutes was
unlimited but limited. I told them in a rational world either I had a limited plan in which case it should be stated so upfront or their add is Illegal and therefore the plan was a scam as it really is.
HERE IS THE ADD copied exactly from their website:
Residential Global Unlimited
Unlimited local and long distance minutes anywhere within the US, and more than 60 other countries

My second month bill came to over 68 dollars
I am mad as hell because our federal authorities permit this kind of kleptocracy and ripp off to occur.
False advertising is illegal but who enforces the law?
Stay away the hell from itp voip
