Beware Unwholesome Practices and Poor Customer Service Everywhere

I am an avid Internet shopper, but my purchase has been a nightmare from the first few minutes as the shipping information was unclear, and the total incorrect once submitted, and inflated by $20. I called within 5 minutes to correct this. I was told an even higher amount if I changed anything.

Then I discovered (from reviews) that the product may not come with the standard in the box items despite the description of what is included, and it is re-certified which to other companies means manufacturer re-certified, but not apparently to eCost. They claimed a 90 day warranty (except in the fine print it says maybe not). Also "accessories" like controllers and power cords may not be included.

Then I discovered my credit card was over charged (even more), and the response, lots of time on hold (see more below). Be careful of this store. Now my money is tied up while the dispute is resolved and my 14 year old is out of luck regarding his xbox for Christmas. When is a deal not a deal? When it is a complete rip off.

Moments ago I discovered they added yet another $10. The credit card company noted it in my dispute record as eCost claimed it was likely the credit card company's surcharge, not true. I was told they (eCost) will try to cancel the order by emailing the warehouse, but no guarantees.
