My friend went into the store and asked for an Apple iPhone 3GS, and the salesman gave him a chinise copy of the Apple iPhone - called Pasbuy. The box and everything in the box looked exactly like an iPhone from the Apple Company - at least for customers, that are not in detail familiar with the phone.
When my friend came to Copenhagen he discovered the fraud. He paid 400 dollars tax for the fake phone, which costs around 150 dollars elsewhere. We contacted the store and they said, that my friend could return the phone, pay extra 300 dollars and get the iPhone, he had asked for in the first place. They really tried to rip my friend off.
My friend said he did'nt want to pay extra, and then he was offered another product in exchange of the phone (by the floor manager Mike). He therefore returned the fake phone and asked for a digital camcorder worth 350-400 dollars and waited for a good solid camcorder to turn up in Denmark.
And it did, but it was'nt a camcorder worth 350-400 dollars. It was a small, cheap model worth 130 dollars. For the second time 51st Computers and Electronics cheated on my friend.
