Customer Service Ignores Multiple Email Attempts for RMA

I purchased a brand new Navigon 7200T unit from Amazon in early October. When you turn on the unit you get the following error message:
"Navigon software cannot be started. Hold the on/off key
pressed and press reset simultaneously. Contact the navigon service
center if the problem persists. Only execute this procedure when being
promped to do so!"
I contacted the company on on 10/8/09 about the problem with the unit. The company responded back to me on 10/9/09 asking me for my contact information, etc. Everything looked like the company would stand behind their product and warranty. Unfortunately, this changed quickly.
On 10/12/09, I contacted the company again asking what the status was for issuing a RMA number to repair the broken unit. I received back the following response on 10/14/09:
Thank you for your inquiry.
We have forwarded your E-Mail to our Repair Center. Our Repair Center will contact you via E-Mail with a process number (RMA) and the shipping information as soon as possible.

Sincerely
p.P. Michelle Collier

On 10/16/09 I responded back that I STILL had not heard back from Navigon regarding the issue with the broken unit. I tried again today on 10/21/09. It is quite apparent to me that Navigon does not stand behind it's products. It has been weeks since I contacted them for help with this situation and it is still not resolved. My advice to anyone is to not buy their products. The company does not stand behind them.

Bill
