Theater Research ripoff consumer fraud ripoff, I was sold a $3000.00 set of speakers out of a van in a parking lot for $250.00 from a company that doesnt exist! Not Known Colorado...
I was approached by two men in a mini van in a mall parking lot saying they needed money to get back to colorado. They offered me a $3000.00 set of home theatre speakers for $1000.00. I finally agreed on a price of $250.00.
I should have trusted my instincts when they didnt want to take a check, but instead wanted to go to my bank and get cash. I paid them only to research the company and couldnt find anything on it except this site with several other stories that resemble mine.
I did pay them but just for safety's sake I took down the license plate of the van! I hope I am contacted by someone who knows what to do with it!
