I placed an order for a simple snap-on plastic cover for my Samsung Eternity cell phone on Aug. 6. Luckily, after submitting the order, I printed the order confirmation page for my records. After 5-6 days, I realized that I had not received a confirmation email from this whack-job company which I thought was strange because I always get confirmation when I shop on-line. I had forgotten that I printed that page, & I spent quite some time trying to find this companies website again. It seems to be very hidden unless stumbled upon accidently (how I found it in the 1st place). Maybe its hard to find that way for a deceitful reason, hmmm... Makes me wonder.
On their website, I tried to check my order status, but the order # from the page I printed was 'not a valid order #'. Imagine that? I thought maybe the order never went thru until I checked my credit card & saw that I was charged by 'onlyphonenetwork.com' on 08/06/09. So back to their website where I found a customer service e-mail address. I sent off the 1st of 8 emails to them on 08/16/09 just asking for the status of my order. No response. Sent 2nd email 08/19/09. No response. Back to website, I see a button for 'Live Help', so I click on it, but of course, Live help is offline now, but says it can forward a msg., so I sent off email #3 via 'Live help' on 08/20/09. NO RESPONSE.
Now I'm pretty annoyed - all I want to know is when I will get my phone cover. Sent 4th email 08/21/09 in early A.M. & what do you know? That nite I finally got a reply - the cover I wanted was out of stock. YOU'VE GOTTA BE KIDDING! I waited over 2 weeks, sent several e-mails & just now I'm being told its out of stock? But there's more... Their email tells me that their distributor is also out of stock on this item and then tells me to pick any other cover I like instead & they'll ship it out today... AS LONG AS IT IS $9.99 OR LESS!!! I paid them $15.00 for the original cover I ordered. So apparently they want me to settle for a cover I might not even want that's of less value than the one I already paid for.
Now I'm really pissed off. I fired off email#5 that same night telling them I was appalled at their lack of customer service, & also requested that they cancel my order & refund the money to my credit card. No response. Sent emails #6 (08/26/09), #7 (08/29/09) & #8 (08/31/09) requesting my money back. NO RESPONSE to any of these emails. Also on 08/31/09, I sent a letter to 'Upper Management' at onlyphonenetwork.com, explaining the situation, but also describing the unethical cutomer service I have received (or not received). I also included my phone # in the letter, but as of today 09/07, still haven't heard a thing from anyone there. One email in over a month from them is all I gotten & as of today, there has been no refund back to my credit card.
