On July 24, I purchased an Optoma BL-FS180C replacement projector lamp from Projector Lamp Express. I paid using PayPal (to "Blink Buys"), the amount of $197.68, which was charged to my credit card.
There was no email confirmation. After not hearing from the company for a week or more, and after many failed attempts at telephone calls, and e-mails, I initiated a dispute with PayPal. Shortly thereafter I received an email from the company apologizing for the delay, and citing difficulties getting shipments through Mexican customs.
I thought the explanation to be reasonable so I discharged my PayPal dispute (foolishly). Two more weeks have passed, and all of my frequent attempts to contact the company have failed. I can not re-open my Pay-Pal dispute.
I can only assume that Projector Lamp Express is a rip-off!
