I purchased a Blackberry Storm because the price was nice, however, I received one that was re-manufactured. No where on the website or anywhere else (then or now) was it advertised as re-manufactured. I know that it was re-manufactured because there was a re-manufactured in Canada sticker inside the battery compartment. I wouldn't have known had it not been for the sticker.
Also, I had to return it initially (before realizing it was re-manufactured) because (per t-mobile) it had not been properly unlocked. GSMmonster agreed that it had not been properly unlocked initially.
I had to pay to have it sent back to be properly unlocked!!! OUTRAGEOUS!!!
Even after it was returned to me (supposedly) properly unlocked, neither t-mobile nor the blackberry internet guru's could help me achieve full BB functionality.
After some difficulty, I was given an RMA number today and will be returning it tomorrow for my refund (minus the 20% restocking fee).
Hopefully this report saves someone the considerable grief that I have experienced with GSMmonster. They are clearly deserving of the rip-off label.
