I bought a Blackberry Bold from them, the cheapest price on the internet. I tried to set it up but I kept getting a message that the phone's PIN was suspended or blocked. I called called my carrier and they got in touch with RIM who suggested that the phone may even be stolen!
I called GSMmonster and they said to send the phone, just the phone back, so I did. Then I started googling the company name and saw this report, go figure! GSMmonster.com has the BBB logo on their site and of course, is not a certified BBB company. What a fraud!
My bank was very understanding and issued me a refund. My bank and RIM are both investigating this company. I also emailed GSMonster to let them know my findings and that I wanted my money back and I was returning everything. Of course, I'm sure I won't get all of my money back due to a restocking fee. I even ordered a skin for my cell phone in black and they sent me a gray one. The invoice even stated that I ordered a black one. They couldn't even do one thing right!
I went to Best Buy, which I should of done in the first place and bought a new Bold. The differences in the two phones was dramatic. The defective Bold had so much more wrong with it than a blocked PIN. I hope these guys fry! Shame on them!
