Horrible wait time for customer support

We bought our Garmin 255W GPS today. We took it out of the box and a part was/is misssing. So we called to get it replaced and have been on hold for over 40 minutes so far. I hung up and called the corp office only to get very rude operator who refused to ring me to someone else that can answer our questions and get us the missing part. She transfered me back to the hunt group loop where I have been sitting for another 35 minutes. If this is any indication how our new GPS is going to work we are going to take it back and get a refund. There has to be a better GPS out there. Also when I reqistered my product the wedsite showed us we were intitled to a free download to update our GPS maps. There is no UBS cable in the box either and it costs more money according to the website but the sales person told us it was included in the first purchase.
