Verizon Wireless not informing their customers of their replacement equipment policies. I recently ordered a new phone to replace a defective phone. Since the defective phone no longer worked, and not given any return instructions, I through the phone away.
Received a phone bill 1-1/2 months later billing me $269.99 for not returning the phone. Was informed that there was a return envelope sent to me when I received the new phone. Since I was given no previous instructions, I could not do this with the phone being thrown away.
Called Verizon Wireless. Customer Service would not compromise. Very rude to me, and still have charges on my phone bill. I feel their return policies are unfair and poor communicated. They are obviously using unfair revenue sources to boost their bottom line.
