This is difficult to write and admit but "I've been scammed big time!" I was getting ready to pick up my dog at the doggie daycare after an exhausting business trip when two men in a truck approached me. They were very casual about the situation and had a story that seemed convincing. Maybe, I was just naive that day. Basically, these guys told me they ordered too many of these surround sound speakers and that the warehouse made a mistake. They wanted to make some extra cash and were willing to sell $3,100 speakers for only $200.
My boyfriend's birthday was coming up and I thought these would be a cool gift. Of course, I told them I wasn't interested several times but they finally convinced me. I'm so disappointed in myself but why is there a product that looks absolutely legitimate be out there? I thought I heard of the company but that was Panamax not Paramax. I should have done my research first. How can such a company website exist out there?
It looks legitimate until you start hitting different links on the site. I got duped! Now I'm going to have to tell my boyfriend what an idiot I am. I don't even know if these speakers work or if I should even try to install them. Be careful out there. If two men (or anyone - who knows if they try to get women involved too) approach you about speakers, RUN FAR FAR AWAY!
