These guys are ridiculous! - Panosonic

These guys are ridiculous! I ordered a PANASONIC LUMIX DMC-TS1 12.1 (orange) via their website with my credit card - in the comment field I told them no sales calls please -this was on a Friday. On Saturday I got an email asking me to call and confirm my order. I emailed back saying it was fine. On Sunday I received a second email saying it was urgent and to call right away, I called but evidently they are closed on Sunday's, except for sending email. On Monday I called and the guy with a thick New York accent verified my address, then started trying to up sell me. I firmly declined the "better batteries" he claimed the ones with the camera died after 40 photos! I also declined extra memory. He then said that he had to charge me $30 plus for insurance to ship to Hawaii. I asked to speak to his supervisor, he said ok and put me on hold, after 5 minutes another guy picks up the line and after I explain that I just want my camera as ordered puts me on hold, two more guys come on and I give them the same story, finally a 4th guy (who was the same guy who originally answered the phone) comes back on and drops the insurance charge down to $20, I tell him no I'm going to cancel my order and buy it from Amazon, he cupitulates and says to keep my business he will send it free of any extra charges. I say thank you and hang up. Then a few hours later I get an email asking me to fax a copy of my credit card and ID in order to complete the purchase! Needless to say I canceled the order.
