Today, my roommate and I drove off from subway and was approached by two white males in a green ford explorer. They offred to sell us some home theater systems and gave us a BS story of they warehouse have given them few extra sets that they must sell before they return to the company.
The two males were quite clever and started saying getting paid 8.50 an hour sux and that they finally got a chance to get some extra cash. They showed us the system piece by piece and it was looked quite nice. The suggested retail on the box stated around 2k, but just because they are in a hurry they don't care how much they are selling it for.
They wanna sell it cheaply and quickly, so been the idiots that we are, we believed their stories. The two asked for 400 dollars for each system, but my roommate and I bought 2 systems for 600 total. We were quite happy because we thought we could use one in the living room of our apartment and the other set I was going to take back to my house.
So we got back to our apartment and started to do on research online about the products we just bought... Then VIOLA we stumbled around this website. After reading a couple stories that sounded EXACTLY like ours. Me and my roommate are pretty depressed. I mean we are just poor college students, ignorant perhanps, but certainly didn't deserve this. I hope these guys go down fast and go down hard for conning the innocent people out of their hard-earned cash.
