I had my sister bombard me with phone calls, luncheons, 3 way conference calls with people I didn't even know about the Ambit Energy "opportunity". I don't blame Ambit for these people calling me like mad to get me to change my electric service but it is very annoying. I currently have a very cheap electricity rate in Houston when most of my friends are paying about 16 cents a kWh with Reliant. I fill pretty happy with my choice and to have my sister pressure me emotionally over switching to Ambit Electric Company even if it means a higher electric rate for me just doesn't make any sense?
I would like to encourage anyone that is considering Ambit Energy as an electricity opportunity for themselves to not pressure their family and friends to become customers. If you family or friends tell you no just accept it and move on. Don't threaten to befriend someone for not believing in a business opportunity that honestly may not be here 10 years down the road. They could sell out or who knows what.
This opportunity can definitely work out for those who put some effort into it but be positive and don't cram the positive business opportunity junk down peoples throats. They will either be receptive or they will not be. Don't continue on and defintely don't become increasingly hostile the more no's you get. If you can't take the rejection I would work on yourself and try again when you have a better grasp of how to work in sales because as many people who tell you this opportunity isn't selling there are those at the top who secretly know it's not only sales but finely crafted marketing through meetings, phone calls, conference calls, leadership motivation and training.
