Pearland/Houston Texas area worst liars I have ever seen

I call my Comcast sales representative to inquire about why the cost of our service had gone up during and the course of that conversation he suggested I sign on to a new one year contract that had a lower price for the same services, he said we would get a $200.00 gift card and free HBO movies for signing up. Well I don't care for the HBO movies but the gift card and lower price for the service sounded like a pretty good deal for committing to a one year contract. After asking a few questions so as to be very careful of what I was getting into, I agreed to the contract on the bases that the Comcast representative assured me that the contract and the gift card would be mailed out to us and we would have time to read over the all contract details and the option of dropping out of the contract if we didn't like it.

After about a month or so neither the promised gift card nor the contract showed up and I noticed from our new monthly Comcast bill that the payment wasn't much less than our previous contract. So I called the Comcast representative to ask about the billing, she assured me it was the right amount and in the course of the details of that conversation I realized that the fellow who had sold me on the new contract didn't mention the taxes and all the other fees they tack on to the basic payment, he wasn't straight forward about the whole final amount and just used half truths to hook me.in fact this same thing happened to me around 2004 when I renegotiated a contract when the same local cable company was owned by Time/Warner, only I forgot how they burned me back then and this fresh incident brought that memory back.

As I continued to inquire about the $200.00 gift card and the contract that was suppose to be mailed out to our home the Comcast rep seemed stunned and told me that the offer for the $200.00 card was expired one the month before their Comcast rep got me to agree to the new contract. She also informed me that Comcast doesn't mail out one year contracts only two year contracts so I couldn't get a hard copy of the contract, so I discovered I was lied to with the most bold face lying that I have every experienced in my 50 years of dealing with the various businesses in the USA.

I have seen a lot of deception and crookedness from businesses but Comcast has taken the supreme award for their lying and they way they treat human beings as just stupid idiots to be manipulated and exploited. It is truly scary to see these Comcast people value their fellow humans in this way, it is very worrisome that our society is producing people like this. It's hard for me not to feel sorry for people who have let themselves degenerated down to this level, how anyone could be comfortable being this way is beyond my understanding, I hope somehow they can come to their senses and turn around and change.

Well after I explain to the Comcast rep that their sales person had lie to me a cheated us she became totally paralyzed and couldn't speak I had to pry information out of her from that point. She said she had taken notes and their supervisor would call me back after they had investigated. I asked her if they had the name of the sales person who had swindled me into the contact and bogus gift card, she said yes from the records she could see he had initialed the time we spoke together. I told her I was going to take some very serious actions if this matter was straighten out and if she understood that and she said that she did.

I have now waited well over a month and no one from Comcast ever called us back looks like I was just told another lie to cover up the previous lie and they are stalling hoping I just forget about it, so I am through talking with liars and will seek out other means of dealing with this issue. We have been purchasing the cable TV for about 3 decades that is thousands of dollars worth of business we have given them and now we are going to change over to the satellite services and send them our money instead. I have a good friend who lives near by who works in the cable industry and he told me that the satellite TV picture in our area is a lot better than the cable picture and that is what he uses he doesn't use cable. So now Comcast will lose thousands of dollars worth of our business just from me alone, plus I will tell my neighbors and who ever I can about my experience and thousands of people will read this report I wrote here after I plaster it all over the Internet that could end up costing Comcast who knows how much?
