Repair/Service

On 7/19 I bought a Kenmore ELITE® ULTRAWASH ® HE Dishwasher [Design 665.13153K701] at SEARS in Lanesboro, MA. I had been convinced to buy installment through “qualified SEARS technicians”, despite the fact that very costly (complete cost $1,476.35).

The contractors came significantly more than ½ hour overdue; they ripped up onto our garden within an unmarked, rustic minivan. Within a few minutes, our yard was dumped with presentation content and old dishwasher parts. These were rude and unfavorable; they significantly broken our kitchen hardwood floor. And given that they were thus overdue, but my spouse had a medical visit, we'd to depart them with my 12-year-old child – really frightening. They quit your kitchen in chaos and my child annoyed.

It quickly became obvious the dishwasher wasn't operating right: It'd stop rounds, frequently with soap quit within the accessory, departing the bathroom dirty and moist. The natural clear lighting is blinking 8 occasions – stop – 1 period – stop etc.

After I named the “Parts & Repair Service Center” I had been informed that I had a need to allow the heated water work before you start the dishwasher; normally the indicator gets confused. It was apparent nonsense, but I required and adopted this guidance; to no avail.

The 2nd time I had been informed it just happened since I wasn’t using wash aid. Again, it was nonsense (the issue had happened just before my operating out-of rinse-aid), but I re filled the accessory; to no avail.

The 3rd time I named, I mentioned I had been getting disappointed, and that I didn't need telephone guidance anymore: I insisted on SEARS delivering a restoration specialist to the house. The consultant set the telephone along.

The next time I named, I mentioned that I had been likely to document a suit against SEARS if no restoration specialist was delivered to my house: Thereupon, Specialist A was sent.

Upon arrival he explained: “I genuinely have no idea how these modern dishwashers work”. He mentioned he might just purchase a brand new indicator and control panel, and change them.

Many days later we obtained within the email a generic-looking indicator and control panel; most likely not unique parts, but inexpensive replacement parts.

Throughout A second trip to our house, Specialist A mounted the brand new indicator and control panel. To no avail: the issue continued.

I called the “Parts & Fix Center” again to plan another specialist visit. I required another specialist, since Specialist A – as he himself had mentioned – didn’t understand what he was doing. I had been guaranteed a “Senior Technician”.

Many days later Technician W found our house. He instantly realized that our dishwasher wasn’t degree - the most effective of the dishwasher protruded 1 in. From underneath the counter. He described that, because of not being degree, it wasn’t wearing correctly and causing the flood safety drift. This made sense. He invested quite a long time righting the dishwasher; just before departing he questioned us to contact if we'd anymore issues, but he appeared assured he had discovered and fixed the issue.

In the beginning it appeared this way; soon, however, it became obvious the situations of breakdown were still happening - less often.in the place of having an imperfect period and green-light flashing “8-1” every additional evening it today happens a couple of times per week.

I called back and requested for another specialist visit. I had been advised to contact "One-Supply": to displace our DW a specialist needed to verify it is breakdown (evidently not within the report). I expected for Technician W to return and requested to not observe Specialist A again. However, Specialist A at our home. This time around he announced our dishwasher was good and our water was not warm enough (it's 114 Y). He quit, issue unsolved.

I wrote a notice requesting an upgraded dishwasher, mounted by correct support specialists, or my cash back. Nowadays I obtained a telephone call: a brand new DW was provided, but my request various contractors couldn't be given. I had been informed "we've nothing related to installation". Additionally, I had been requested to supply my creditcardnumber - that we declined.
