I guess I am not the only one that feels that Hughes net is a big ripoff. Since I have been with Hughes I have had four modems and all ways was told that the system would be faster and better. All I ever had was a system that was no better that when I first purchased the service. Many times I have called about the service but like every one else I had a hard time understanding the person that was on the line. I then up my download access and was told it would be faster. That was a big lie.
When I wanted to quit the service I was told it would cost me at least 300.00 dollars to stop. I had nine months left on my service because I accepted the new modem. All I ever get is a slow download and a acceleration code. Keep trying for numerous time till I get the web site. I guess I will go with another company when my service contract is up.
I do not believe that the government will never do any thing about this as Hughes is a big government contractor. As they say money talks and BS walks. When Howard die all of the wolves took over the company and now we see how they care about the public.
