Worthless speakers white van scam

Today, I bought a 5.1 Divinci surround sound speaker system from a guy in a parking lot. Granted, it was stupid of me to buy anything from a random person in a parking lot out of his SUV, but it was all in original packaging and the deal seemed good: $400 for a $2000 system.

Getting home, I looked on the internet to see how to hook the speakers up, because it only came with one cord and even that cord didn't make sense in how to hook up ANY of the speakers. So I go online and find out that this is a VERY popular scam happening all over the country.

The kicker: it is not even the fault of those b*hes that were in the car. It seems to be the company that is the scammer. Their website is completely false. From what I've read, if you hook up any amp to the speakers, itll blow out both the speakers and the amp. STAY AWAY from these.

I realize that it is my fault that I bought them, but this company needs to be stopped.in a place like America, where items are bought and sold with relative ease, a legitimate company should not be selling items that are NOT legitimate.

My only hope at this point is to get in on a class action lawsuit. If anyone can help me out with this, it would be greatly appreciated.
