"We're just following policy." That's all retailers reply these days. I'm sick of bad products, bad service, and bad policies from these retailers.
I bought a battery for my digital camera which I use for my "before and after" pictures of jobs. I'm a carpenter. I knew the cheaper "Digipower" wouldn't be as good as the "twice the cost" canon battery, but I figured if it was at least as half as good as the original which held long charges for a little over two years, then it would be worth the savings.
Upon my discovery that this replacement battery was pure crap, I tried retuning it. Well I was 10 days out of the return period. 10 days!
Victor, Admin Senior tells me there's nothing he can do for me. But this is an inferior product I say, you shouldn't even be selling this in your store! There's nothing I can do, he says. You can call "Customer Relations at 888-237-8289.
When I get home a few hours later I call the number and eventually get Teresa, customer relations supervisor. There's nothing I can do, she says, you passed the return period. But I don't use the camera everyday, it's the nature of the circumstances we should be looking at here, this battery shouldn't even be sold in your stores, it's so inferior. But there's nothing I can do. I'm just "Customer Relations Supervisor".
Look out American consumers, we are under attack by stupid company policies, shrouded in "new & improved", and cloaked in "we care" - about - you?
Sincerely,
Michael Fair, victim of "read the fine print"
