Purchased an RCA 42' HDTV (design L42WD22) from Wal Mart for $998 on March 15.includes a one-year guarantee. It had been employed gently, usually significantly less than one-hour/time. Display started going dark in October. Technology began to burn/odor in early Nov. Named RCA. They suggested an area (RCA licensed) store. Television couldn't be fixed - required fresh show and technology. RCA Thomson said they'd substitute.
RCA delivered a restored device in January. Restored device (mounted by their licensed store) wouldn't function. Nearby store specialists couldn't restore the restored device despite fourteen days of RCA Thomson tech support team. (Envision an excellent control procedure therefore problematic they do not actually change the restored device on before delivering it out towards the customer!)
After many (five or even more telephone calls to RCA having a guarantee from their store every time to contact me in 3-5 times but that they never did). Today RCA really wants to deliver a second renovated product. They'll not deliver a brand new device and certainly will not return my income. The Next restored device is likely to be warrantied for ninety days - despite the fact that I've been without their Television today for over 8 weeks. Requested to talk to some degree of administration. They declined. Stated I really could create corporate at P.O. Package 671988m Marietta, GA.
This RCA Product evidently has whether severe style or production defect. Completely anticipate 2nd restored device to either not function or even to crash rapidly. But RCA Thomson merely really wants to work through March 15 when initial warranty ends. Seems to be no sensible/honest answer for that customer to get a problematic/defective item having a $1000 cost!
