Ought polaroid flat screen 40"lcd tv almost 2 yrs ago. Sound and pic died last week with no practical or affordable solution for fix.
Polaroid no service customer service has basiclly informed me that i now own a $1200 piece of junk. I actually owned the junk 2 yrs ago - i just didnt know it yet. I never suspected that the $1200 would only buy me 2 yrs of service. Judging from all the other complaints that i have read, my 2 yrs meant that i got a good one!
I do not understand how the govt is allowing polaroid to get away from issuing a recall on all these lcd tvs. All the complaints that i have read online have a similar tone - limited performance and outrageous repair or replacement costs.
My piece of junk is going into the attic - hoping for an eventual recall of all these defective tvs.
Shame on you polaroid! I trusted your formerly good name but never again! U you need to make this mess right!!!
P.S.-you really need to work on your customer service!
