On December 5th I went to The Mobile Store to shop for cellular services. The salesman convinced me to get a T-Mobile 300 minutes with unlimited texting. The Plan price is 49.99 and with all the fees it came to $58 and change.
The salesman also told me that if I prepaid for my first month of service that I would not receive another bill for 2 months. The other two salesmen present also confirmed this with me.
On January 5th my phone service was suspended and I received a text message stating that I had to pay $106 and some change for my service to be reactivated..
When I went back to the store to find out what the heck was going on, the same three clowns that told me I wouldn't have a bill until February then told me that with my particular plan I had to pay for my services up front. I then told them that even if that were the case where did this $106 number come from? How can I be two months behind 30 days after establishing a PREPAID service?
I went to T-mobile corporate and they told me they have no dominion over franchise stores. I'm stuck with this crummy phone and these clowns being my service providers for the next two years!
Don't even go in! These people LIE! How can you tell if they are lying? Well, are their lips moving? There you go...
I recommend Verizon, or AT&T, or Cingular... If T-Mobile won't police the people who represent their services and products then DON'T BUY T-MOBILE!
